SL Locking Solenoid - Monostable Design.
Simple electrical control - the monostable locking solenoid is straightforward to use. For example, upon closing a door, the device automatically locks a 6mm maximum diameter bar without power, the internal micro switch detects the door is closed and gives an output that can be wired directly to an LED showing a locked status or can be used to signal a PLC or other devices.
The lock mechanism can be released by momentarily energising the internal solenoid for 100ms or by pulling forward the emergency lever sited on the underside of the device. Mount the locking solenoid to a flat surface using the 6mm diameter through body holes or use the M5 female front face threads to secure the locking device.
Standard operating voltage is 24V DC, other voltages or low powered battery versions are also available subject to minimum order quantities. Nominal power consumption is 37 W, protection class IP44 with operating temperatures up to 80°C. The fast switching mechanism offers a superior service life with over 100,000 switching cycles.
