Pneumatic Quick Exhaust Valves.
Quick exhaust valves are designed to exhaust connected devices quickly to atmosphere when the pilot pressure is removed. They are typically used with cylinders where large volumes of air need to be expelled quickly to assist quick operation. Conventional valves and tubing would otherwise restrict the operation of the cylinder within a pneumatic system.
Pilot pressure is applied to port 1 of the valve which shifts the mechanism so that air can only pass through port 2. Upon removal of pilot pressure to port 1, back pressure from port 2 closes the mechanism to port 1 then passes through port 3.
Quick exhaust valves shown in this section are available with G1/8, G1/4 and G1/2 female threaded port sizes.
