Pneumatic Oscillating Valve Electrically Controlled.
Pneumatic oscillator valves are designed to provide a continuous switched output function.
Here we show an electrically controlled oscillator valve, the 5/2 way valve will continuously oscillate (alternating ports 2 and 4) whilst air is connected and power is applied to the solenoid coil, interruption of power to the solenoid coil stops the process.
Speed is dependent upon the connected volume and line pressure which can be controlled with the addition of flow control valves. Typical speed is 16 cycles per minute at 2.5 bar.
Oscillator valves can be used to oscillate a double acting cylinder, applications include mixing, stirring or sawing devices where time critical cycling is not required.
Solenoid operators (coils) and connecting plugs are purchased separately, voltages offered are 12V DC, 24; 48; 110V AC/DC or 230V AC, coils simply slide onto the brass stem which is sited in-line to the main valve body, a threaded cap secures the coil in place, a wiring plug can then be connected.
