AND/OR Pneumatic Logic Valves.
AND/OR logic valves are constructed of light aluminium. Port sizes are G1/8 or G1/4 threaded.
OR logic valves, also typically known as shuttle valves, give an output from port 2 when pressure is present at either inlet port 1A or 1B. No output is given if two simultaneous inputs are present. OR logic valves are particularly useful if there is more than one signal input to a single device. They prevent air travelling through the adjacent connected port preventing unwanted signals within a circuit.
AND logic valves give an output from port 2 when two input signal at ports 1A and 1B are present simultaneously. They are also typically known as ‘YES logic’ valves. AND logic valves are particularly useful for sequence checking within pneumatic circuits. It is possible to connect more than one AND logic valve creating multiple inputs required before an output can occur.
