V series pneumatic cylinders manufactured to ISO 15552 standards meet European specifications which standardise overall cylinder dimensions and thread sizing to achieve interchangeability with all other manufacturers.

There are two types of cylinder profile, a solid profiled aluminium tube with internal tie-rods for bore sizes up to 200mm, or for larger bore sizes a round aluminium tube with external tie-rods, both designs offer extreme strength and durability.

Typically within applications and irrespective of brand, pneumatic cylinder failures are caused mainly by operating conditions.

The build-up of contaminants or corrosive substances can damage the nose of the cylinder and cause the seals to leak, which reduces the performance of the pneumatic cylinder. Replacing a pneumatic cylinder is expensive, and seal replacement is time-consuming.

We offer a unique pneumatic cylinder with a corrosion-resistant stainless steel nose which includes additional rod wiper seals that protect the internal cylinder seals. The cylinder nose can easily be removed to replace the rod wiper seals without having to take apart the entire pneumatic cylinder, ultimately saving time and money.

V series pneumatic cylinders range from 125mm to 320mm bore; they are double acting with or without magnetic pistons. Other options include stainless steel piston rods or Viton seals for higher temperature use of up to +150°C.

Within the V series cylinder range, other cylinder designs include through-rod and tandem cylinders to achieve higher force output.
