Kendrion OMW series direct mounting inline vibrators generate gentle, steady directional vibratory movement on the connection of an alternating current to the excitation coil.

Two angled leaf springs on either side of the vibrator connect the vibrating armature to the base plate. The excitation coil is located beneath the vibrating armature plate.

When an alternating current to the excitation coil is applied, a magnetic field attracts the armature plate creating an arc-shaped directional vibratory movement to transport material.

OMW inline vibrating solenoids are compact by design and very useful for applications where reliable high performance is needed, but space is limited.

Applications include shaking, punching and stamping waste, packaging and pharmaceutical industry container filling, or particle feeding for measuring devices and analysis.

Application of our OMW series vibrator on a chocolate moulding line at Mood Foods to dispense inclusions onto moulds. Control of the vibration by an external potentiometer with our phase angle controller.

Order bellows separately to achieve a higher protection rating against dust and moisture ingress.

Phase angle controllers can be ordered separately for fine vibration adjustment through an alternating or direct current (via an integrated one-way rectifier). In addition, the phase controller can be DIN-rail mounted within cabinets with minimal space.
